DESCRIPTION
IVF Basics® HTF is a unique handling, conditioning and culture medium which is used in over 100.000 IVF cycles already. The IVF Basics® HTF range is developed for IVF, GIFT and ZIFT procedures in order to facilitate the gamete and embryo manipulation.
The IVF Basics® HTF comes in two variants:
- IVF Basics® HTF Bic w/o 0,4% HSA: Designed for the use in a CO2 incubator, Bicarbonate buffered and contains phenol red for visual pH control.
- IVF Basics® HTF HEPES w/o 0,4% HSA: Contains a HEPES buffer to maintain a stable pH during procedures performed outside a CO2 incubator.
IVF Basics® HTF media can be used for the following procedures:
- Flushing for oocyte collection.
- Washing/handling of human ova.
- Washing/handling of spermatozoa.
- Swim-up of spermatozoa.
- Production of density gradient media.
- Washing/handling for human embryos.
- Embryo transfer.
- IUI, IVF, ICSI.
- Embryo culture from day 1 to blastocyst stage (IVF).
- Basics® HTF (with HSA).

IVF Basics® Cult-Oil is a ready-to-use, double washed with water, light mineral oil for use in IVF, ICSI and related ART procedures (d = 0.83-0.86 g/ml).
IVF Basics® Cult-Oil is highly recommended during:
- Oocyte culture.
- Denudation of oocytes.
- Fertilization of oocytes (by IVF or ICSI).
- Embryo culture.
- Embryo manipulation.
CHARACTERISTICS
- 100% paraffin mineral oil pre-washed with water.
- MEA test 120h in culture.
- Glass or PETG bottles.
- Delivered in opaque box to keep product away from
sunlight. - Available in different bottle sizes.
- Storage at 15ºC to 25ºC.
- Shelf life of 18 months.
